About Me

I’m an English lecturer  at the University of Texas at Arlington with research interests in children’s literature and gender/sexuality. My book, The Transformative Potential of LGBTQ+ Children’s Picture Books, is available for preorder from University Press of Mississippi. It will ship June 2022.

My son initially inspired me to research children’s literature and I couldn’t have a better reading partner. He loves that his mom is a book blogger and always has new books to share with him!
